GEORGIA MCCOY

Provide leadership and management functions of the RCPS food service operation in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements

Assume responsibility for reviewing applications, interviewing, and making recommendations for staffing
of all food service managers and
 food service workers

Plan and implement training programs for school food service personnel

Direct both internal and external communications/public relations regarding school food service

Is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of finances

Participates with county and state organizations in preparation and maintenance of the budget

Directs financial affairs with responsibility for purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, auditing, payroll, and finance reporting

Prepares reports requested by the Superintendent and School Board for school board meeting

Ensures integrity and reliability of district’s financial systems

School Board Clerk

Attends all school board meetings and any special and/or committee meetings unless otherwise directed

Preparing minutes for Board Agendas/Meetings

Completing on-line registrations for Board Conferences/Meetings

Keeps, in a bound volume, a permanent record of all proceedings of the Board and makes these minutesavailable to whoever might need them

Verifies all statements for payment after the audit by the Board per VSBA regulations

Acts as custodian of the official seal of the Board

School Psychologist

 

Coordinates and administers psychological testing for all Students

Coordinates all Early Intervention Programs, including Head Start,
Cumberland Mountain Early Intervention, and
 Pre-School

Serves as FAPT and Head Start Representative

Interprets professional services provided in order to ensure realistic pictures of what psychological services ent

Uses clinical instruments to diagnose intellectual and behavioral problems of individual 

children within the school setting

Communicates the findings and recommendations in language readily understood by the
school staff

Functions as a voting member of the Eligibility Committee

Provides both group and individual counseling services for those students that require them

Is obligated to ascertain that certain psycho-educational information reaches responsible and authorized persons and is adequately interpreted for their use in helping the student

TONSCIA OSBORNE

Payroll Manager/Medicaid Coordinator

 

Processes all aspects of payroll for all employees

Collects school and department payroll reports for processing

Maintains documentation on ALL payroll changes in an organized filing system by month/payroll

Maintains filing system on various computer-generated payroll reports

Distributes employee checks and direct deposit slips to schools and departments and mails checks,
if needed

Prepares federal and state tax deposits, unemployment records, 941 reports, W-2 forms, etc.

Is responsible for maintaining sick leave, vacation, personal leave, and compensation time for all employees

Prepares and submits Medicaid claims for billable health services

Collects monthly service logs from all providers, including OT, PT, nursing, speech, and transportation providers

Tracks certifications and licenses of school health providers

Gathers and tracks permission to participate and release of information for Medicaid eligible students

Maintains files on all Medicaid recipient students receiving special services

Prepares and submits quarterly administrative claims

Assists with/submits yearly cost reports and self-audit reports

Administers/tracks Random Moment Time Study

Performs any other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Finance or Superintendent

 

RUSSELL WILLIAMS

Social Worker

 

Provides psychological assessments to determine the social, emotional, behavioral needs of students for pinpointing the source of school or parental concerns

Conducts formal and informal assessments

Collects and records information to share with appropriate personnel

Initiates and attends parent conferences as needed

Conducts interviews needed for the IEP meeting

Reviews student records

Observes students in various environments when appropriate

Obtains medical, social, or educational information about a referred student from community agencies

Serves on FAPT/multidisciplinary team

Shares appropriate family, cultural, social, economic and developmental information

Assists in the development of intervention strategies to meet individual social and emotional learning needs

Provides consultation to administrators and teachers on broad areas of mental health

Consults with staff and teachers on student needs

Assists teachers on strategies of student’s needs and classroom management

Consults with administrators with issues related to IDEA

Consults with parents regarding ways they can help their child become more successful in school
