Welcome to Castlewood High School
where spirit, pride, and enthusiasm are the result of a school in which
the entire community takes pride. Students at Castlewood High School
receive excellent instruction, and are given the opportunity to prepare
themselves educationally for their future endeavors. During the course
of each year, students are encouraged to develop their attitudes and
skills. In addition to the many academic classes that are offered,
students are encouraged to participate in many extracurricular
activities available in our student organizations. Let us always
have the spirit and enthusiasm to do the things necessary to make this
school outstanding.

Mission Statement:
Committed to Excellence at Every Level.
Vision: With a
commitment to excellence, we at Castlewood High School strive to meet the needs
of all our students, regardless of ability levels, and to provide a safe, fun
academic learning experience.
Beliefs:
All students can learn.
Student learning is the chief priority for the school. Students' learning needs
should be the primary focus of all decisions impacting the work of school.
Students learn in
different ways and should be provided with a variety of instruction approaches
to support their learning. Students learn best when they are actively engaged in
the learning process.
Exceptional students
(e.g., special education, limited English proficiency, gifted/talented, etc.)
require special services and resources.
A safe, physically
comfortable environment promotes student learning.
Each student is a valued
individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
