Career Fair
Coordinated by the county's Career Pathways
Committee (formerly Tech Prep), the Annual Career Fair is held at the Russell
County Career and Technology Center in Lebanon, Virginia. Students are given an opportunity to attend three
workshops of their choice. The workshops are presented by business leaders in
the community. Students also have an opportunity to experience a keynote address
presented by a nationally known speaker.

During the 2010 Russell County Career Fair
students were inspired by Dr. Adolph Brown. Real Talk with Dr. Adolph
Brown, was an upbeat feel-good talk show that promoted "overall wellness"
by using a fun, edutainment approach. |

Dr. Brown used his unique gifts and
understanding of human needs to
reach Career Fair participants with life-altering messages. Known
for his expertise, humor, down-to-earth speaking
style and wisdom, Dr. Brown is a huge hit each time
he participants in the Career Fair. |
