PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Lebanon Middle School. Once again, we are experiencing change. For the 2011-2012 school year we will house approximately 350 students in grades 5th, 6th, and 7th. We have 35 full and part-time faculty members. I am proud to report to you that Lebanon Middle School has achieved the status of "Full Accreditation" from the Virginia Department of Education for the eighth consecutive year. Also, Lebanon Middle School has successfully met all provisions set forth under the No Child Left Behind Act adopted by the federal government. Middle school is an exciting and challenging time for students. It is our goal to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to complete globally in an ever-changing society. I encourage you as parents to be directly involved with your child's education. I believe if parents, teachers, students, and school personnel work together in th espirit of cooperation we will have a most successful and rewarding school year.
