Principal's Message

Rita Street is the principal of Lebanon Primary School. She has an associate degree from Southwest Virginia Community College; a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Clinch Valley College, an M.A. degree in Education from Virginia Tech and a M.S. degree in Educational Leadership from Radford University. She has been the principal of Lebanon Primary for five years and was the principal of Lebanon Elementary for one year. Prior to her principalship she worked as a coordinator for Russell County Schools and taught primary grades at Honaker Elementary School.

Assistant Principal's Message

Vickie Honaker has a B.S. degree in Science/Biology from Lincoln Memorial University and a M.S. degree in Educational Leadership from Radford University. She was Assistant Principal at Lebanon Elementary for four years and has been the Assistant Principal at Lebanon Primary for the past five years. Prior to administration, she taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology at Lebanon High School for fourteen years.

Lebanon Primary is a fully accredited school.

The school has made AYP,
and is recognized as a Title I Distinguished School by the Virginia Department of Education.
