Honaker High School

The 2024 ASPIRE Summer Program, “The Sky’s the Limit!”, will run from Monday, June 3rd, to Tuesday, July 9th, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Enrichment programming this year will center around the field of AVIATION. Many activities and field trips are being planned involving aircraft manufacturing, engineering, and operation, as well as the many careers available in the field. We are kicking off the program with a visit from an ICON A5 airplane and flight simulator!! Registration forms are available in the main office or register online at the link in the flyer below.

Reminder: Monday, April 8th, 2024 school will be released 15 minutes later than normal (3:30 PM) for viewing the Solar Eclipse. Students will receive Solar Eclipse Glasses with Solar Safe Filter Technology. Students will receive their glasses during their 7th period class. Evening vocational school students will receive their glasses upon returning to the high school. ALL ASPIRE Afterschool sessions have been cancelled for Monday, April 8th.

Congratulations to Connor Miller who was recognized at the Honaker Little League Opening Day Ceremony for creating the new Honaker Little League logo. Connor created the logo in his Sports Marketing class at Honaker High School.

The Senior Class will be sponsoring a MARSH Blood Drive on Monday, April 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the high school. Donors must be 17 years of age and weigh at least 110 pounds. Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged. Join us and give the gift of life!
