
Russell County Public Schools is releasing its Standard Response Protocol (SRP) for parents and guardians. The SRP outlines specific actions that students and staff should follow during lockdowns and evacuations to ensure safety and security during emergencies. Russell County Schools will provide free meals to all students served under the National
School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Each school and/or central school nutrition office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.
All schools in the division will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) as implemented under the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. Students attending a
participating school will be provided a nutritious meal for breakfast and lunch each day at no charge to the household. Households will not be required to submit a meal application form to receive meals at no charge. Each household will receive a letter informing them of the program, including contact information for any questions.

LMS will be hosting schedule pick up and meet the teacher for each grade level at the following dates and times. 5th Grade- August 1st: 9:00 am. 6th Grade- August 1st 1:00 pm. 7th Grade- August 2nd: 9:00 am.

Lebanon Middle School would like to invite parents and guardians to our grade level award ceremonies. 6th grade awards will be tomorrow, May 22 at 1:00 pm, 5th grade awards will be Thursday, May 23 at 9:00 am and 7th grade awards will be Thursday, May 23 at 1:00 pm.

On Monday, April 15, our GATE students went to Bright's Zoo to visit Kipikee, a rare paternless giraffe, and her friends. Here are some pictures of some of the animals our students were able to see and interact with.











Lebanon Middle School will be hosting our Spring Formal Friday Night at the government center from 6 to 9 pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from Mrs. Woodlief. Students will be dropped off at the door and will be signed out by parent or guardian when leaving the dance. Any student planning on leaving with a friend will need to have a signed note from their parent or guardian.

Lebanon Middle School will not have afterschool today. Students will be staying 15 minutes later than regular schedule in order to view the eclipse.

On April 8, Russell County Public Schools will be dismissed 15 minutes later than normal so students will be able to view the Solar Eclipse.


Congratulations to our County Art Contest winners. Collin Ball, Riley Reece, Chloe Ratliff, and Gabby Griffith all received 1st place in their respective categories, Makinley Coleman and Collin Ball both received 2nd place and Macie Whited, Mason Stoots, and Chloe Ratliff all received 3rd place in their categories as well.
