HONAKER — Tiger catcher Jax Horn signed to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level with King University in Bristol, Tennessee.
“I think King is getting a good one,” Honaker coach Chris Anderson said. “You won’t find a harder worker or better teammate than Jax Horn. I’m excited to see what the future holds for him. I know that he’s going to be successful and represent himself, his team and his community exceptionally well.”
Horn helped lead the Tigers to an 11-8 record winning the Black Diamond District baseball regular season and tournament titles.
He was first-team All-Region 1D, the BDD Player of the Year, and first-team All-BDD as a catcher. Horn hit .438 with 21 hits, including five doubles and two triples. He finished with 17 runs driven in. He also threw 23 innings with 23 strikeouts and a 0.89 ERA for the Tigers.
