The Honaker Lady Tigers Junior Varsity Basketball team won the Hogoheegee District Championship on Monday night with a 35-25 win over Rural Retreat. The Tigers completed the season with an undefeated 10-0 mark in the Hogoheegee District and an overall record of 19-2. Their only two losses came against VHSL Class 3 Carroll County and TSSAA 3A Tennessee High. The Tigers were led by Julianna (JuJu) Farmer with 14 points and Cheyanne Musick with 10 points. Vineyard led the Lady Indians with 9 points on the night. The Tigers ended their first season back in the Hogoheegee District the same way as their last in the Black Diamond District, as champions.
