EMORY, Va. – The Tigers collected 11 hits and received a dominant pitching performance from Alyssa Grace Wilson en route to a victory in the third place game.
Sophie Cambell drove in two runs on three hits, including a solo homer.
Madelyn Dye led the Honaker hit parade with three hits. Ryle Rasnake added two hits, while Wilson drove in two runs.
In the circle, Wilson allowed just five hits, walked none and struck out 11.
Lindsey Widner supplied two hits for PH, while pitcher Sophia Wright recorded seven strikeouts.
In the junior varsity title game, Honaker took a 7-0 win over Chilhowie.
