Honaker 49, Holston 22

The Honaker Tigers are a hands team as they demonstrated on Friday in a Hogoheegee District win over Holston.

Honaker caught five touchdown passes and also bagged three interceptions in earning its first win of the 2025 season.

Cole Morrison and Eli McGlothlin both picked off Holston aerials and returned them for scores. Kamron Keen also had an INT.

Meanwhile, Honaker freshman quarterback Parker Lowe was 14-of-16 for 212 yards. Avery Musick (three catches, 70 yards) had three TD catches, while Tyler Hubbard and Jeremiah Rose also got in on the act.

The Tigers (1-3) scored all their points in the first half.

Holston (2-2) committed four turnovers. The Cavaliers’ touchdowns came from Brady Owens, Dayton Parris and Maddox Buchanan.
