Parker Lowe threw three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, the last of which went to Jeremiah Rose and covered 70 yards with 5:04 remaining as the Honaker Tigers rallied for a 31-28 non-district football win over the Narrows Green Wave on Friday night.
Honaker (3-4) trailed 21-7 at halftime and 28-13 entering the final quarter before the Tigers completed the comeback.
Lowe hooked up with Rose with 10:51 left, threw a scoring strike to Tyler Hubbard with 7:30 remaining and then let it fly again for the go-ahead score.
“A big second half,” said Honaker coach Aaron Lowe. “We didn’t play our best in the first half. Proud of our kids. They overcame adversity tonight and trusted the process. This is big moving forward.”
