HONAKER — It was a different season, and the departure of two first-team all-state performers, but a similar result for the Honaker girls. They won the Region 1D championship and advanced to the Class 1 state basketball playoffs. A key reason was the play of 2026 Lebanon News Player of the Year, Honaker sophomore JuJu Farmer.
“Ju came in as a freshman and has been great these past two years,” said Honaker coach Misty Davis Miller. “She contributed even as a freshman, and this year, she stepped into her role as a sophomore. Ju had to put the team on her shoulders in many games and take charge — that’s what she did.”
