HONAKER — After missing most of the 2025 season due to a serious medical issue, mentor Donovan Helton has returned to the dugout.
“The support the girls and coaching staff showed me, picking me up when I wasn’t able to, brought me back to softball,” remarked Helton. “I’d thought about not coming back. But the love and support I was shown brought me back to them. I wasn’t going to let an illness take me out of 20 years of coaching.”
