HONAKER — Honaker High School announced on April 8 the hiring of veteran coach Aaron Williams as the new head coach of its boys basketball team. It brings a wave of optimism to a community eager to see the team return to its winning tradition.
“Honaker High School, Honaker basketball and the local community are thrilled to have Coach Aaron Williams leading the boys basketball team," said Principal David Bostic. "Coach Williams is recognized as one of the top coaches in Southwest Virginia. I hold great admiration for him and am eager to see him coaching at A.P. Baldwin Gymnasium.
