Congratulations to Drake Boyd, Aiden Dye, Erica Osborne, Elizabeth Sisk, and Derek Musick. Out of a few thousand nominations, only 350 students were selected to the Virginia Tech Honors Band. Out of these 350 students, five of our very own Honaker High School band students were selected for this honor.

The 2023-2024 Honaker High School Academic Team participated in an All-day SWATA Tournament at Virginia High School in Bristol, VA Saturday, 11/11/23. They had an outstanding day of fun and learning against nine talented teams across Southwest Virginia. They earned two great wins in their nine-match schedule. Our team captain, Miss Morgan Davis, finished 8th in the Top 10 Players of the Day! Way to go, Tigers!!!
